Welcome to Three Sixty K9, a haven for dog enthusiasts, born from my personal experience with dogs: from a childhood surrounded by sweet labradors to later working with troubled rescue pitbulls.
My true dog education journey began with a stray pit mix we took in as a temporary foster. As we attempted to place her for adoption anywhere else, we found that her behavior problems—pulling, barking, growling, lunging—were far too severe to interest any potential adopters.
When we enrolled in a formal training program at Total Control K9 College in Houston, everything changed. We learned how to communicate with Daisy and work with her, as a team, to accomplish our goals.
Ultimately, my bond with Daisy made her our first foster fail as we realized she was already home. We went on to have success in various competitions for several years.
Eventually, I began teaching other well-intentioned but poorly-informed owners how to communicate with and build a bond with their dogs the way I had with mine. This remains a passion of mine today.
Three Sixty K9 isn’t just about training; it’s a holistic haven. Our virtual platform overflows with guidance from accomplished trainers, insights from skilled veterinarians, and stories from dedicated rescue workers. Whether you’re a first-time dog owner or a seasoned handler, you’ll find a wealth of information to enrich your bond with your dog.
Three Sixty K9 is a platform with a purpose. It’s a library of knowledge whose ultimate goal is a better world for humans and dogs. We believe that with the right tools, people and dogs can make each other’s lives better.
Embedded in the very core of Three Sixty K9 is a lifelong kinship with dogs. For me, a world without a dog is unimaginable. We aim to reach others who agree.
